Part of our daily routine is Appreciation Station.  At the end of the day we write a little happy note for a random staff member.  These notes have become very important to the kids.  We don’t tell the staff that they are coming or why.  We decided that we needed to do a blanket Happy Day for all staff in our building.  So we divvied up the names and everyone wrote a special notel.  Then we delivered them.  The pride the kiddos felt while making them was so evident in their creations. They took this task to heart.  Although some of their questions I couldn’t answer…what’s their favorite color?  what’s their middle name?  what’s their favorite food?  When you give a smile, you get a smile.  Love Sharing the Happy!
